  • Overview

    This part time position is primarily responsible for setting up technology for Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette home games.  These systems include the statistics network, statistics monitors, sound metering equipment, NBA photo network, TV truck clock and statistics feeds, wired internet connections for media personnel, printers, and video connections.  Setup Game Clock and wiring for basketball hoops for games.  Additional IT-related tasks may be assigned as needed. 

    Responsibilities

    • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 operating systems and basic computer hardware.
    • General understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
    • General knowledge of LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
    • Provide support for various computer and video related tasks, including the NBA statistics systems.
    • Assist media and staff at the event with issues connecting to wired and wireless networks.
    • Understanding of network data, serial and video cabling.
    • Work under direction of the Executive Director of Operation Technology, statistics personnel, and game night technology staff.
    • Must be available several hours before each game for equipment setup and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to mornings or early afternoons on the days of games. Mornings preferred.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
