  • Overview

    This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the team’s owned app and assists with all other team digital development assets including the website.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the strategy/planning and workflow on the mobile (app) environment for the organization 
    • Manage the execution of the app design/development components and assist with website development 
    • Assist with developing content distribution plan within the app and website. 
    • Assist on digital strategy and marketing planning – leading the mobile component 
    • Assist with digital journey and consumer experience mapping 
    • Develop and implement a usability testing process within the department 
    • Create the strategy for digital sponsorship inclusion within our owned app 
    • Build creative guidelines and policies within our owned app 
    • Contribute on the development of the brand’s long-term technology and platform roadmap  
    • Coordinate and collaborate with various channel owners on campaign planning, development, execution and measurement to maximize impact  
    • Develop requirements, user-experience workflows, wireframes, and define user-friendly content for the mobile app 
    • Create and manage timelines and schedules to ensure on-time delivery 
    • Daily management of app content following brand guidelines to promote all business lines (ticket sales, corporate partnerships, retail, game operations, arena operations and more) 
    • Manage and explore partnerships with 3rd party technology integrations to enhance revenue generation and user experience 
    • Work with technology and legal teams on digital compliance and regulatory requirements 
    • Work with content creators on platform distribution and optimizations 

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing business, communication, design, development, web marketing or equivalent 
    • Extensive knowledge of mobile/app UX 
    • Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, prototyping, gathering requirements and/or supporting mobile app development as part of a team 
    • Working knowledge of interface development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript 
    • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe web and Creative Suites 
    • Experience with ecommerce or transactional experience required  
    • Experience with Yinzcam, Shopify, Google Analytics and Firebase preferred 
    • Experience with Rover, Fortress and FEVO a bonus 
    • Experience with Marketo, Jira, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics a plus 
    • Excellent organizational skill and proven attention to detail 
    • Thorough understanding of mobile/web development processes. 
    • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment – prioritize competing priorities while organizing the team’s tasks.  
    • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment 
    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
