Job Summary

 

Fiserv Forum is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Motion Graphics Animator with a control room emphasis. This position will have strong design, color correction, typography and 3D skills to create content across all media platforms. The Motion Graphics Animator must be goal-driven, detail-oriented and possess the ability to adhere to deadlines within a fast-paced, high pressure environment. The Motion Graphics Animator will collaborate with all departments to ensure the fulfilment of company goals.

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Conceptualize, design, and animate dynamic 2D and 3D graphics used in all aspects of event presentation and sponsorship elements in-arena as well as elements for broadcast television and the web.
  • Work closely with producers, video editors, and graphic designers to create custom animations and maintain a consistent overall team brand
  • Understand brand and marketing objectives, contributing to the evolution of the team image
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts of both complex graphics and animations; using independent judgment, principles and esthetic design concepts
  • Produce animated motion graphics for all Fiserv Forum LED displays
  • Design and create promotional and event presentation videos, animations, and graphics
  • Assist in developing concepts, storyboarding and pre-production
  • Create still-frame and animated graphics
  • Work with third party clients to fulfill video production and graphic needs
  • Assist with shooting variety of special events, press conferences, and community appearances – editing, audio mixing, and lighting as needed
  • Edit video segments for external use but not limited to broadcast, web, event presentation
  • Assist in media management and file server archiving
  • Log game tape and highlight reels

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film Production, Communications from four-year College or University; or 3 years relative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications: PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat is Adobe Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects, File Transfer Protocol is required
  • Knowledge of Ross Acuity & Xpression Studio and Daktronics v8000 show control
  • Experience creating broadcast quality motion graphics
  • Proficiency with Cinema 4D or other relevant 3D animation experience/expertise required
  • Experience designing style guides and storyboards for motion graphics
  • Non-linear editing experience and strong technical knowledge of video, audio and lighting
  • Experience with finishing edited productions (overlays, color correction, and other treatments)
  • Strong conceptual and storytelling ability
  • DSLR shooting and workflow experience
  • Outstanding communication skills and a positive, energetic personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong creative abilities and a passion for content creation
  • Extreme attention to detail and passion about Quality Control
  • Self-motivated, highly resourceful, with strong decision making skills
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong knowledge of the NBA and the Milwaukee Bucks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point)
