Overview

Title: Full-time Floor Care Specialist

Class: Full-time

Reports to: Vice President of Housekeeping/Housekeeping Manager

Location: Arena, Practice Facility, Parking Structures, Entertainment District

Summary:

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position that will be responsible for the cleaning the multiple floors and carpets throughout the Fiserv Forum, SSC Training Center along with the surrounding Deer District. 

Responsibilities

  •  

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Clean floors in suites, lofts, locker rooms, dressing rooms and back of house rooms to SOP specifications
    • Sweep and mop concourse to company SOP specifications
    • Able to perform floor care to the following:
      • Terrazzo
      • Wood
      • Concrete
      • Tile
      • Carpets
    • Thoroughly clean seats upon request
    • Able to operate vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, wet vacuums, walk behind scrubbers, riding scrubbers, carpet extraction equipment and burnishers.
    • Understand how to fill mop buckets properly
    • Knowledge of pressure washing equipment
    • Ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently, with minimal direction
    • Understand post-COVID cleaning procedures to all carpets and flooring
    • Maintain positive working relationships with staff
    • Assist in keeping Arena and SSC within NBA Post-COVID Guidelines
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:

    • Two years prior experience in a related field
    • Be very flexible regarding work hours, occasionally working weekends and holidays
    • Be able to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, executive leadership and event managers.
    • Must be able to bend over to perform certain cleaning tasks
    • Must be able to repeatedly climb stairs

     

    Position Evaluation:

    • Position will be evaluated during training, as you must pass a test to work certain shifts
