Job Title:              Sr. Analyst, Ticketing Strategy

Class:                    Full-Time

Reports to:         Director of Ticketing Analytics

Position Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Ticket Strategy will be using applied data analytics techniques to provide insight and recommendations on ticketing pricing & inventory, customer retention, customer scoring, attendance forecasting and new product development for the Bucks, the Herd, Marquette, and Arena Concerts/Shows.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced ticket data analytics, data modeling and statistics to answer complex business questions
  • Build and maintain models (i.e., pricing, scoring/qualifying, retention, price elasticity, etc.) and collaborate with Sr. Director of Ticketing Analytics and the SVP of Ticket Sales & Service to implement strategies to improve net revenue over time
  • Complete data exploration and identify trends that enable the organization to improve revenue streams and optimize processes
  • Develop dashboards regarding optimization of business performance and provide strategic recommendations in presentations to management and senior executive leaders
  • Assist in the implementation of data warehouse to aggregate, prioritize, manage, and store business data.
  • Ensure data accessibility, quality, and reliability for use across departments
  • Clearly articulate findings and present recommendations to departments looking to use data
  • Stay ahead of with innovative trends relative to analytical and data visualization technologies and techniques
  • Enhance organizational data literacy Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar domain
  • 2 years of professional experience in ticketing analytics or related field with a strong and well-rounded knowledge of general business operations
  • Sports or entertainment industry experience is a plus!
  • Excellent digital literacy skills, including SQL experience, Microsoft Office Suite, statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.), CRM (MS Dynamics), Archtics and Power BI
  • Practical experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and general predictive modeling techniques
  • Highly organized, thorough, and self-directed business style, with good ability to prioritize
  • High-level of dedication to a quality work product
  • Ability to maintain relationships with key constituents as appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business
