Part Time- Ops Supervisor- Forklift Op

Summary:

The Fork Lift Operator will work with the Building Operations Department throughout conversions from one event to the next.  This includes the safe and efficient operation of building equipment during each conversion in the Fiserv Forum.

Work Schedule: 3rd shift

• Assist with the coordination of event conversions.
• Actively pursue, develop, and maintain methods for improving the conversion efficiency within the Building Operations Team.
• Support internal and external events for the arena from an operations standpoint.
• Maintain all storage areas and make sure they are neat and cleaned.
• Keep and maintain inventory for all arena equipment.
• Communicate between shifts the necessary tasks that still need to be completed.
• Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, retractable seating risers, basketball floors etc.
• Enforce all changeover policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, interpret and modify blueprints, specs and electrical schematics.
• Implements and performs all work within Federal, State and Local Safety Regulations (i.e. ADA Compliance, OSHA Standards)
• Maintains all operational equipment. (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Implements and performs all work within all Federal, State and Local Safety Regulations (i.e. ADA Compliance, OSHA Standards)
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma
• Minimum one (3) years of experience in facility operations preferably with a sports facility, convention center or warehouse setting.
• A proven track record to function in a fast paced, high pressure environment and possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be self-motivated.
• Ability to work event days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Valid Driver’s License and Forklift Certification Required
