The Manager of Marketing & Digital will be responsible for implementing the marketing of the Wisconsin Herd with administration, marketing efforts, strategy, analysis, and brand development in accordance with the direction of the Milwaukee Bucks Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will connect with all other departments of the company as needed to achieve goals including collaborating with the Milwaukee Bucks Marketing and Digital teams.


  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to the Marketing & Digital team that may include but is not limited to digital intern, Video Content Coordinator, and Graphic Designer.
  • Implement and manage media buy plan for local market and outer market to ensure a return on investment is in place for team advertising especially through driving walk-up ticket revenue.
  • Focuses on organic growth and engaging team fan base on a frequent and consistent basis through digital integration for Public Relations, Community Relations and Basketball related information which may include but is not limited to the following team accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Write and develop team’s e-newsletters in collaboration with Partnership, PR/CR and Ticketing departments.
  • Manage Team website layout and content updates.
  • Attend/lead meetings to plan, strategize and implement new and existing special events.
  • Day to day project management for the department.
  • Work with President and senior management on the development and execution of Herd brand strategy through short & long-term strategic marketing plans.
  • Develop e-marketing strategies, including development of new strategies.
  • Collaborate with Director of Ticket Sales to analyze, develop and implement marketing and sales campaigns including Group Sales Managers on group and single game initiatives.
  • Participate in development of promotional events and campaigns to support sales efforts.
  • Measure value on advertising & promotional programs to increase the effectiveness and reduce the costs of sale.
  • Develop and manage fan and customer surveys, including evaluation of NBA research.
  • Coordinate internal platforms including but not limited to: Wrike request process, Formstack, Marketo, etc..
  • Manage the Graphic Design & Video Content production process internally and within the Milwaukee Bucks.
  • Collaborate with Game Operations and Partnership departments to develop consistent in-arena brand and look by creating and providing in-arena marketing assets (i.e. video board slates, close circuit TV slides, printed materials, etc..).
  • Liaison with NBA G League Marketing & Digital leads to increase exposure using league insight and assets.



  • Manage, Hire, and Train retail event staff.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations.
  • Work with team Pro-shop manager on inventory levels.
  • Complete all necessary reporting for Team and League.
  • Receive, update, and store inventory.
  • Emphasis on E-Commerce integration in tandem with Brick & Mortar sales.


Annual Projects

  • Update Team website and social media accounts to reflect updates for a new upcoming season in real time.
  • Lead development and production of marketing and sales collateral materials in collaboration with other departments that includes ticket design, credentials, digital graphics, sponsorship activation elements and related materials.
  • Collaborate with PR/CR & Partnership Activation departments to manage, plan, and implement fan engagement events including but not limited to: Season Ticket Holder events, Bar Network, and Draft Party.


Game Day Responsibilities

  • Delegate all mentioned below to Marketing Digital Team.
  • Ensure arena marketing assets are updated prior to games, during and post-game including but not limited to exterior “L-Shaped” reader board, close circuit TVs, in-arena slates, etc..
  • Take photos, videos, and post engaging content live on all Team social platforms.
  • Create photo albums on respective social platforms.
  • Capture theme and excitement of game!
  • Help PR/CR department as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Administration, or a related degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Marketing, Digital, or similar role.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, both technical and creative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional work hours (including nights and weekends).
  • Detail-orientated with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
